Guidobono Langhe, a red wine from Piedmont, Italy, made from Nebbiolo.
Nebbiolo is pale in color but powerful, with rose, tar, red cherry and firm tannins that reward a little air or a few years in the cellar. Serve it with braised beef, mushroom risotto, truffle dishes or a hard aged cheese.
