A short list, changed often, of what the people behind the counter are drinking right now. We taste everything we sell, and these are the bottles that made us stop and pour a second glass. Some weeks it is a grower Champagne like R.H. Coutier's Cuvée Tradition; some weeks it is a Premier Cru Chablis from Domaine Servin, a Langhe Nebbiolo from Elio Grasso, or a Bandol rosé from Domaines Ott. Never more than eight bottles, never anything we would not bring to a friend's table. If you are new to the shop, start here.
