Rosé
Rosé is a small shelf here on purpose: a dozen bottles we would actually pour, not a wall of pale pink. Provence leads, with Clos Cibonne's Tibouren cru classé, Gassier's Cru Sainte-Victoire and Domaine de l'Amaurigue. Bandol brings the serious ones, Domaines Ott from Château Romassan and La Bastide Blanche. Italy answers with Baldovino's Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo, deeper in color and made for a table of food, and Mas de Daumas Gassac sends a lightly sparkling rosé from the Languedoc for the porch. Whispering Angel is the rosé everyone asks for; if it is not on the shelf today, call and we will tell you what is. Chilled and ready for same-day pickup or local delivery, and shipping where the law allows.
