The building has changed hands, the village has changed around it, and the shelves have changed with every vintage, but the idea has not: a neighborhood shop where the selection is chosen bottle by bottle and the people behind the counter can tell you why.
We taste what we sell. That is the whole method. It is why the Chianti on the shelf is the one we would open tonight, why there is a wall of grower Champagne next to the names you know, and why we will happily talk you out of the expensive bottle if the one beside it is better for your dinner.
