We ship where the law allows

Wine shipping laws are set state by state, so we ship to the states that allow a New York wine shop to send wine to your door, and nowhere else. At checkout you will only be able to choose Ship if your address is in one of those states. If your state is not on the list, we are sorry; it is the law, not us.

Where we ship

New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, New Hampshire, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, Ohio, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, Nevada, Idaho, Oregon and California. This list can change as state rules change.

What ships

Wine and Champagne ship to every state on the list. Spirits are available for pickup and local delivery only. Large formats (1.5L) ship and may need their own box.

How it works

Add bottles to your cart and choose Ship at checkout. We pack in shippers built for wine and send by carrier. Orders ship within two business days. In hot or freezing weather we may hold a shipment for a few days to protect the wine, and we will email you if we do.

Adult signature required

Federal and state rules require that an adult 21 or older signs for every package of alcohol. The carrier will not leave it at the door and will not hand it to anyone who cannot show valid ID. Please ship to an address where an adult will be available during the day, such as a workplace. Packages that cannot be delivered after repeated attempts are returned to us; see our Return and Refund Policy for how that is handled.

Rates and timing

Flat-rate ground shipping is $30 for 1 to 2 standard bottles, $45 for 3 to 6, and $65 for 7 to 12. What it costs to ship wine varies by state and distance, so these flat rates are set as an average across the states we ship to rather than a different price for every destination. Shipping quotes may be adjusted based on the destination and ZIP code. For a destination-specific quote, more than 12 bottles or shipments to more than one address, call (914) 337-5090 for a quote. Most orders arrive within 2 to 6 business days after they ship, depending on the destination. We will email you a tracking number when the order leaves the shop.

Damaged shipments

If a bottle arrives broken or leaking, contact us within 48 hours with your order number and a photo. We will replace the bottle or refund it. Please keep the packaging until we have confirmed the claim.

Local delivery and pickup

If you are in lower Westchester, local delivery is usually faster and cheaper than shipping. See our Delivery page for the delivery area, minimums and same-day cutoff. Pickup is always free at 98 Pondfield Rd.
