Caprili Brunello, a red wine from Tuscany, Italy, made from Sangiovese.
Brunello di Montalcino is Sangiovese at full stretch: dark cherry, leather, dried herbs and firm tannins, built to age for a decade or more. Serve with bistecca, braised beef, wild boar ragu or aged pecorino; decant an hour ahead.
