Pinot Noir
Pinot Noir is the grape of red Burgundy, the Sonoma Coast, the Willamette Valley and the Russian River Valley, and the most asked-for red in the shop after Cabernet. It is lighter in color than it is in flavor: red fruit, earth, silk, and the kind of acidity that makes it the easiest red to pour with dinner.
Here you will find village and premier cru Burgundy from Nuits-Saint-Georges, Volnay and Beaune, Oregon Pinot Noir from Eyrie, Soter and Sokol Blosser, and California Pinot Noir from Hirsch, Littorai, Rhys and Failla.
