2011 Shelter Cabernet Sauvignon 27/29

$56.00

Shelter Wine Company is the brainchild of David Stevens and a New York City wine broker. Made by Robert Foley, the 27/29 was co-fermented from two vineyards in the Howell Mountain sub-appellation of the Napa Valley (thus its name), one on a mountain and the other on the valley floor. The distinctive terroir of these locations gives the wine a nicely layered character.

To cut to the point: Fantastic wine from a renowned winemaker for a “value” price. Get it before it’s gone!

Tasting Notes:

On the palate dark fruit and berry flavors are complemented with wood and earth notes.
